We here in England get to see KISS once in a Blue Moon. To see them ATALL is cause for celebration. To then stand in criticism of their setlist would seem to Me to be ludicrous in the extreme. I suppose life is different in North America, with KISS 'living' there, and touring there far more.... Being in a KISS tribute band, I too get the 'why didnt you play...' nonsense after giving 2+ hours of KISS songs, including the hits, the most popular classics, and some of the most obscure, and full pyro, costumes, authentic instruments and backline, you name it. like Us, KISS will NEVER please everyone, unless they can play every song in every order (studio, live, bootleg, video, dvd), and have member and costume changes to suit. How about people just watching and enjoying the moment, and celebrating the fact that KISS is still a band, and is STILL showing everyone else how it's done.... for once......?

i wasn't there (unfortunately), but i saw them on oct. 1 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. all of their shows are unique, and all are the best. i watched a lot of recordings from different shows on youtube, and they all have the same format. however, when u're actually there, it's mind blowing, absolutly amazing. my wife have seen them before, however at the end of the show she was speechless. i think from now on i'll do my best never to miss a show that will be performed around my home area.
the reason they had security around the stage now is that they wouldn't want any intruders, or better said casualties (like it happened to James somewhere in the beginning on '90) when all those pyrotechnics get fired up.
Thank You METALLICA

Good write-up of a fantastic show. The energy in the Garden that night was incredible, and I was amazed at the end of the show: even after guitars were handed over and equipment was being packed up they stayed onstage almost 10 minutes, thanking the crowd, waving, shaking hands, flinging guitar picks, etc. In almost 100 concerts over 28 years I've never seen a band hang around like that after a show, just taking it all in.
